Programming
29 Acres will offer an enriched evidence-based curriculum to adults with ASD. For all participants, the programs intent is to promote the realization of greater independence, self value, success and happiness.
The program is inclusive of individuals with interests and talents across the spectrum of ASD and other neuro-diversities.
For some, the curriculum goals may be a 2-year path to substantial independence upon completion. For others, the goal may be lifelong progression to greater independence while continuing to live in the community.
Using person-centered planning and evidence-based assessments, 29 Acres will yield greater independence among adults with ASD in the areas of employment and volunteer opportunities, and functional living skills and emotional well-being. Our holistic approach will place a focus on health, recreation, and staying active. Our high staff to resident ratio is designed to address the specific needs of each client with personal attention.
